Cambridge Cleantech is now inviting applications for its highly anticipated pitching and investment event, Cleantech Venture Day, to be held in London on February 11-12 2020. This year we are hosting the event in partnership with Oxfordshire Greentech and Avanto Ventures. Clean Growth UK, KPMG, Hewitsons LLP and JA Kemp are sponsoring the programme.
Cleantech Venture Day has been a trailblazing event for the cleantech community since its first run in Finland in 2006. More than 220 companies have pitched their ideas at Cleantech Venture Days and as much as 600 million euros have been invested as a result of the events.
“In today’s climate, with a rising need for environmental change, it becomes more and more important for Cleantech companies to expand and grow, so that their positive impact will be even greater. We aim to achieve that by connecting investors and SMEs at Cleantech Venture Day,” says Martin Garratt, CEO of Cambridge Cleantech.
24 cleantech innovators will get the opportunity to present their pitches to an audience of investors from across Europe. Last year, over 75 cleantech companies from around the world applied to pitch to investors such as Engie, Carbon Trust Ventures, Sustainable Ventures and Grid.vc. The most innovative, investment-ready companies were selected.
This event is therefore a fantastic opportunity for cleantech SMEs and businesses seeking to secure funding, as well as for experienced fund managers, business angels and corporate investors eager to invest in innovative and disruptive cleantech companies. Listen to pitches, meet investors, enjoy networking and listen to inspiring talks about the latest trends and innovation in the Cleantech sector at Cleantech Venture Day 2020.
Early Bird tickets are available until 31 October, and applications to pitch close on 15 November.
