Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce kick-off board expansion plans with announcement of new Board Member Nel Woolcott

The Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce is delighted to announce that Nel Woolcott has been appointed to the Chamber Board effective immediately, ahead of today’s call for business leaders to apply for other limited open positions.
Representing 60,023 businesses across the county and 238,600 employees, the Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce give businesses a voice at the top table, champions their needs and highlights key issues to decision makers at local and national levels.
As Managing Director of Peterborough-based Anne Corder Recruitment, Nel joins at a time when the support for our local businesses is an important as ever and brings a deep level of people-experience to the existing Board.
Speaking of the appointment, Nel said: “I am honoured to have been invited to join such an important board of directors as they continue to support Chamber CEO Charlotte Horobin through a significant business transformation effort. As an active member for the last decade, I know that people are at the heart of the Chamber, and I am excited to bring my experience into play with the rest of the Board.”

Nel joins in advance of the Annual General Meeting where the Board’s ambition is to elect additional board directors from businesses within the region.
