Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce appoints Steve Dighton as Chair of Chambers’ Construction & Property Committee

The Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce is delighted to announce that Steve Dighton has been appointed to chair the Chambers’ Construction & Property Sector Committee. Steve is Group Business Development Manager at Breheney Civil Engineering based in Huntingdon. Breheny is one of the largest family owned civil engineering companies in the UK and has been included in the NCE Magazine’s Top 100 Civil Engineering Companies list, 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Speaking about his appointment, Steve said: “I am pleased to have taken on the role of Chair of the Construction & Property Sector. I have been based in Cambridgeshire working on Civil Engineering and Highways Projects all of my career. Construction and Development are important to the economy of Cambridgeshire and the Eastern Region with large projects such as the A428 upgrade stimulating growth and employment. I aim to ensure that the profile of the Sector is kept high across the whole of the County.”
Steve is taking on this position, and his role on the Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce Board, with immediate effect.

His background in engineering, and his contacts across Cambridgeshire, will be of real benefit to the Sector and the Chamber more widely.”
