Domino Welcomes New Talent & Diversity Director

September 23, 2024

A Cambridge company has announced a senior addition to its HR team, based at its UK headquarters in Bar Hill.

Domino has appointed Donna Murray as Talent & Diversity Director with responsibility for the company’s organisational, talent and diversity strategies, building on developments to date and leading future initiatives to enhance further an environment that is inclusive to all.

The announcement comes as the UK marks National Inclusion Week (23rd-29th September) which is dedicated to celebrating inclusion and taking action to create inclusive workplaces.

Donna developed her HR leadership career in Schlumberger, before joining Johnson Matthey as Global Talent Director. Her most recent role was with First Quantum Minerals as Talent, Diversity & Inclusion Lead.

Originally from Northern Ireland, she has travelled, worked and lived in various locations across the world before settling in Cambridge.

Donna says: “I’m really happy to have joined Domino as the new Talent & Diversity Director and have spent my first month learning about Domino and hearing about all the great things we are already doing. I’ve been really impressed by what I’ve seen – we have a commitment to gender diversity, a workforce representing about 60 nationalities, we are engaged in local initiatives that promote science and volunteering across our sites and we regularly listen to our Domino colleagues via the Employee Voice Survey.

“My goal now is to keep listening, learning and understanding all the work that’s been done so far, and start building a plan to take it even further, ensuring we continue to create an inclusive environment where everyone can be themselves and thrive.

“I’m excited about this new journey and can’t wait to contribute to the ongoing growth and innovation here at Domino.”

Founded by Inclusive Employers, National Inclusion Week’s theme for 2024 is ‘Impact Matters’, a call-to-action to everyone in an organisation to understand, identify and measure impact on marginalised groups and take actions that make for genuine and sustainable change.
