Form the Future volunteering opportunities before Christmas

Form the Future are offering some amazing opportunities to help students at local schools. We would be delighted if you or any of your colleagues would like to get involved. Your contribution would be really beneficial to young people.

 

Careers Carousel at Bassingbourn Village College
Tuesday 12 December, 8.55-10.30am

In order to prepare students for the future, this event gives students a greater insight into some of the career options available to them so that they are better informed to make career choices and motivated to succeed in the coming months. Volunteers discuss with students their job experiences (ups and downs), career path, their company and how they reached where they are today. You will have a table where students will be coming to have a chat with you.

What’s my line? at Cambourne Village College
Friday 13 December, 8.45-10.45am

We are looking for inspiring employers to come in and speak with students about what they do for work and how they got there. Students will have to guess the profession by asking questions about day to day duties, skills and knowledge. After the big reveal, employers will give an overview of their career to help motivate students and boost aspirations.
