Tom hedley our data impact analyst has over 16 years’ experience within the global telecommunication and technology start up sectors. He previously specialised in back end development and is an expert on Linux, and programming in Python and Go.

Tom obtained a PhD in Physics from the University of Bath developing new techniques for modelling photonic crystal fibres, having previously worked at CERN developing materials for the ultra high vacuum system of the Large Hadron Collider.

Tom has a vast wealth of experience in leadership and design, where excellence is the norm, and is fully commited to the mission, and purpose of the cambridge belt organisation.

Tom is currently doing in-house training on BBC Micro:bit platform and Google AI cloud based technology.
