This gathering, taking place on Thursday, 26th September from 18:30 – 22:00, will bring together local businesses to explore the rapidly evolving landscape of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

AI is a subject of growing interest and debate in the business community. Attendees will gain practical knowledge on how AI can influence and benefit their operations.

Jeremy Reeve, Chair of the Ely Cathedral Business Group, said,

“Businesses of all sizes are increasingly encountering AI, leading to important conversations about its role in our operations and if it should be used at all. We are pleased to bring together experts for a discussion on AI in the unique setting of Ely Cathedral. We are also proud to support two local charities through this event and look forward to welcoming businesses from across the county and beyond.”

Charlotte Horobin, Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, said,

“As businesses navigate the digital age, understanding and enhancing digital skills is crucial for remaining competitive. AI offers both opportunities and challenges, making it essential for our business community to grasp its potential impact. Events like this align closely with our Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP), which aims to ensure that local businesses have the skilled workforce they need to thrive in a rapidly changing technological landscape.”
