Championing Business: Imposter Syndrome and What Can We Do About It?
There isn’t a week that goes by when I’m not told by somebody that they suffer from Imposter Syndrome.
How do we deal with this self-denigrating self-doubt?
Can we change mindset and adopt new behaviours?
How can intervention help?
This session will deal with self-doubt, boundaries, how to say ’no’ and what mechanisms we might employ to reduce the discomfort of Imposter Syndrome.
About our speaker:
Claire Vane has spent the whole of her career and, she says even her childhood, watching human behaviour, growing up in a Vicarage in industrial Manchester. She is passionate about why some organisations are blocked and individuals fail to reach their potential. The thread that binds her work is different mechanisms for releasing potential through interventions in the employee lifecycle from recruitment marketing and branding through search and selection, process re-engineering, HR operations, performance management, reward, strategy execution and HR transformation through organisational design and coaching.
She has spent the last 20 years developing and delivering the Consultancy and outsourcing offerings of Integrated Resources. Prior to this she was an HR director operating globally and in Europe, ensuring that her organisation was able to develop its growth and potential.
Her business has worked in a huge variety of sectors and her experience in blue-chip organisations has enabled her to apply best practice and growth to clients. She’s particularly interested in the interventions in the spectrum that bring about behavioural change so that individuals improve their performance and achieve a high level of satisfaction. She particularly enjoys 1:1 coaching to make a difference to the individual and Claire has been coaching senior executives for many years.
Claire read Classics and Modern Languages at Cambridge and is an NLP Master Practitioner. She’s accredited to use a number of psychometric profiling tools and her other great passion is the piano, which she uses to raise money for her favourite charities.
