Construction and Property Networking Lunch

We’re back in Peterborough for our popular specialist informal lunch, this time with a difference! Network with other construction and property-related companies and enjoy a buffet lunch.

This event allows construction and property-related companies to meet on an informal basis to build connections and discuss issues related to your business.

The network welcomes developers, contractors, specialist contractors, architects, planning consultants, civil engineers, structural engineers, M&E engineers, surveyors, quantity surveyors, construction fee professionals and much more.

Mini exhibition

We will be welcoming Sizewell C Supply Chain to the event, exhibiting in the room and showcasing how they can support businesses to get involved.

The Suffolk Chamber of Commerce’s Sizewell C Supply Chain team is dedicated to fostering collaboration among local industries across East Anglia. Through an inclusive strategy, they empower stakeholders with the knowledge and tools needed to amplify Sizewell C’s positive impact on the region.

On January 15th, 2024, the initiation of Sizewell C’s Development Consent Order (DCO) marks a significant milestone, bringing the project closer to commencing construction activities. This event signals the imminent launch of the “Shovels in the ground” operation.

The DCO meticulously outlines the planned development and associated works, reaffirming the project’s commitment to generating low-carbon electricity for approximately six million UK homes. With the formal commencement of the DCO, construction can now commence, creating job opportunities and bolstering support for local businesses.

The Sizewell C Supply Chain team, remains dedicated to collaborating with local and regional businesses across East Anglia. Their mission is to ensure that local businesses, communities, educational institutions, and charitable organisations have the necessary information and guidance to actively participate in the project’s success.

We will also be welcoming the A428 Improvements Team to the event, who will also be exhibiting throughout.
