Informal Networking Evening – Ely

Our monthly networking series with Ely Cathedral Business Group continues at Ely’s Poets House, Ely.

Attracting businesses of all sizes from a wide range of industry sectors, these events are very popular.

Your company doesn’t need to be a member of the Chamber, or Ely Cathedral Business Group, to take advantage of this great opportunity to make new business connections – anyone is welcome to join us. Get together, get thinking, and get talking about things that matter.

Take this chance to catch up with familiar acquaintances you haven’t seen in ages, mingle with new business contacts and share knowledge and skills with like-minded professionals.

Chamber staff will be attending so if your company is considering joining the Chamber, it is a great opportunity to ask about the benefits of membership and discover what you can expect to gain from joining our Chamber network.

Guest speaker – Alastair Ure Reid

Wellbeing, Resilience and Productivity

Cambridgeshire Workplace Chaplaincy (CWC) supports workplaces with online and face to face support through a combination of an online wellbeing hub and acting as an introducer so that employers can access a chaplain who can support the wellbeing of staff.

CWC is a charity that promotes the concept of workplace chaplaincy and supports workplace Chaplains of all faiths across Cambridge, Peterborough and surrounding areas in their work of meeting the pastoral and spiritual needs of people in work settings of all kinds.

This informal talk will equip you as an owner/manager or employee on ways to support your own wellbeing and those around you and find out where to signpost people, whether you’re a sole trader or a large business. You’ll also hear about how a chaplain can support your workplace, whether a large business or a sole trader.
