Sarah embodies the spirit of #InspireInclusion on International Women’s Day.
Sarah’s positive approach to life has propelled her through a successful career, triumphing over the daily challenges of cerebral palsy. A global speaker, she shares her wisdom at conferences and events, delivering impactful training and coaching.
Her infectious passion lies in helping organisations with employee engagement and helping individuals navigate career changes, whether by choice or due to life-altering circumstances like redundancy, accidents, or illness.
Sarah educates and empowers people to become more self-motivated, fostering an environment where everyone can shine.

Katie Allen – Specialist Inclusion Consultant, Coach, TEDx speaker, and host of the ‘Speaking of Inclusion’… podcast
With decades of experience in people and culture, and commercial leadership positions, Katie is now on a mission to change the world of work by enabling a new wave of inclusive leaders who are confident to have the real conversations that matter.
Since starting her business in 2020 Katie has helped thousands of leaders to fight the fear of putting their foot in it and take themselves from cautious to confident.
Katie Allen will introduce the event by demystifying the language of inclusion, and helping us to get over the fear of saying the wrong thing, so that we may Inspire Inclusion in our own roles as leaders, colleagues, and friends.

Ross Renton – Principle, Anglia Ruskin University Peterborough
Professor Ross Renton is the Principal of ARU Peterborough, a new at scale university for Peterborough. He was previously the Senior Pro Vice Chancellor at the University of Worcester, where he held strategic responsibility for a diverse range of institutional priorities.
He provides sector leadership thorough a range of external roles, including the President of the Forum for Access and Continuing Education (FACE) and Chair of the Widening Participation network for GuildHE. He was also a Widening Participation Expert and main panel member of the Teaching Excellence and Student Outcomes Framework (TEF) Subject Pilots for the Office for Students (OfS).
ARU Peterborough provides transformational and inclusive higher education for the city and region. Ross has a real passion for improving accessibility to higher education.
Ross will be sharing the thoughts behind the build of the new University, including ensuring Muslim prayer and multifaith facilities were included in the first phase so anyone can attend University, irrespective of faith. He will also share examples of the action they take to reduce barriers to accessing education, this includes on-campus breastfeeding facilities, affordable food on campus (including free fruit and a £1 lunch) and free transport to Open Days.
Being an ally himself, Ross will also be highlighting the importance of allyship, supporting people from marginalised or under-represented groups and working to build a more inclusive environment for all.
