New Export Regulations for Egypt
URGENT – EXPORT REGULATIONS FOR EGYPT ARE CHANGING
A new fast, secure and cost-effective procedure of submitting your shipping documentation to Egypt is being issued by the Egyptian Government from 1 October 2021.
Egypt’s Single Windows Platform, ‘Nafeza’, will be used to fulfil all regulatory requirements related to the release of goods at Egyptian Customs. Nafeza’s service provider, CargoX, requires all UK exporters to be registered in order to submit documents.
We are pleased to invite you to an online session where you will be briefed on the new customs pre-registration system for export to Egypt ‘Nafeza’.
During the session, guest speakers from CargoX will talk you through a step-by-step guide on how to register and submit documents on their new platform, as well as discussing problems encountered when using CargoX for the first time.
Note – From 1 October 2021, these regulations will be the only legal method of exporting products to Egypt.
