FULLY BOOKED – Roundtable event with William Bain, Head of Trade Policy at British Chambers of Commerce

This event is now fully booked.

We are holding a private roundtable event with William Bain, Head of Trade Policy at the British Chambers of Commerce, to discuss the Border Target Operating Model (BTOM) and what this means for UK businesses with the additional customs rules and checks.

BTOM is a document published by the UK Government outlining the strategy and processes for how UK borders should be managed in the wake of the UK’s exit from the EU. The system will be introduced in multiple stages during 2024 with the first phase launching on 31 January. Leading development of policy at the BCC on issues around UK-EU and UK-RoW trade, William is well placed to answer your questions.

We are currently waiting to hear if we will be joined by a senior civil servant from the Cabinet Office who would also give their view and answer questions.

The event will have very limited numbers with a maximum of 16 guests to ensure that each person has time to join in the discussion and ask any questions they may have.

The event will run from 1.00-3.00pm and lunch will be included.

Places at this event are on a first come, first served basis and cost £30.00 (plus VAT). Please respond as soon as possible to secure your place.
