Using Diversity to increase Recruitment and Retention

With almost full employment across our region, it is essential that employers are empowered to create work opportunities in their teams that unlock the full potential of current and prospective employees. ‘Good Work’ can lead to transformational health outcomes for employees who, without the support of an inclusive workplace, would see their chances of engaging with the labour market restricted.

At this business breakfast event, join employers and partners in local government, public health, social care, skills and employment and beyond for a morning outlining the support in place for employers who are seeking to diversify their workforce through inclusive practice and improve their recruitment and retention of talent.

The morning will include speakers on the relationship between ‘Good Work and Good Health’, being a Disability Confident employer, support offers available from DWP, Employee Mental Health Support and the scope for a unique ‘Good Work Charter’ in our region.

This event is brought to you in collaboration between the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority, Cambridgeshire County Council, Peterborough City Council, the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Integrated Care Board and Partners.
