The 2019 Highways Awards finalists revealed.

With so many categories receiving a record number of entries, a team of expert judges certainly had their work cut out this year.

Jonathan Pearson, head judge and President of the Institute of Highway Engineers, said: “This year has seen a record number of entries in the awards. Not only that, but it is another year of high-quality submissions.

“This is testament to the hard work of these companies and organisations as well as the fact that the UK has some of the best highway engineers in the world. Judging these awards was a very difficult task but one that makes you proud to be part of this fantastic industry we have.”

Mick George Ltd was nominated in the ‘Road Safety Scheme of the Year’ category, alongside Cambridgeshire Constabulary, Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service, Cambridgeshire Road Safety Partnership, Volvo, Mick George, Brake, Road Victims Trust.
