Would you like to work for a fast growing, forward thinking practice? Red Shoes Accounting, a dynamic and skilled accountancy firm in Littleport, is on the lookout for an Accounting Technician to join our friendly team.

The Opportunity: Your responsibilities will include preparing accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Additionally, you’ll be an integral part of our clients’ success, offering support with VAT returns and bookkeeping. You will also support the office and your colleagues with general admin duties when needed.

Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
37.5 hours per week plus a paid 30-minute lunch break
Flexible working hours (core hours Monday to Friday, 10 am to 4 pm)
Desired Skills and Qualities:
AAT qualified with at least 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Takes the initiative, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Current and relevant experience in an accountancy practice environment is essential due to the technical nature of the role.
