Closing: 04/11/2022

PECT is an independent charity that is helping to protect and enhance the environment. Our vision is for sustainable places where the natural environment is healthy, communities are involved in their area, health and well-being is improved for all and resource use is responsible and does not compromise the needs of others, now and into the future.

For a quarter of a century PECT has been developing and delivering best practice in how to create sustainable places; places that use a fair and sustainable share of the planet’s resources. We have a strong track-record of running a wide range of projects and activities, working with businesses, schools, and the community.

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic candidate to join our South East New Energy Programme delivery team. This is a senior position and a fantastic opportunity for an individual to further their project management career in the environmental business support sector.

Purpose of role:

To provide overall day-to-day management of the ERDF-funded South East New Energy programmes’ Grant Scheme Delivery Team and ensure the project delivers against all agreed outputs and milestones.

The South East New Energy programme aims to build a stronger Local Energy and Low Carbon Economy in the South East of England. It will achieve this by providing support to a range of individuals and organisations, and by understanding and addressing the barriers to the decarbonisation of communities, buildings, transport, and lives. The programme is led by the University of East London and is funded by the European Regional Development Fund. The programme launched in 2021 and is due to close in Autumn 2023.
