“The breakfast events are the perfect mix of business updates and networking opportunities – a great way to make new friends and contacts, and to share challenges and ideas.  The last Peterborough Safari Breakfast enabled me to make links with two other managers whose organisations are a perfect fit with our business needs – we are looking to work with them in the very near future.”

“I first joined the Chamber in 2003 when I started my first business and very quickly realised how valuable it was to my business. The various networking events were great in making new contacts, finding customers and suppliers. The connections played a big part in growing my business.

“My involvement continued to grow by initially becoming a member of one of the committees and it evolved to me joining the chamber board and chairing two committees for over five years. As you will appreciate the relationship and involvement had a very positive impact on my business.

“I would highly recommend joining the chamber and finding out what it can do for your business.”

Philip Mashinchi, Managing Partner, Cambridge Support Ltd

Promoting my business in the connected magazine has also raised my profile resulting in some good leads from customers I would not have had any connection.

“Membership has saved me so much money with the range of services and benefits including the health plans which myself and staff enjoy. I highly recommend membership.”

“As an active member of the Chamber for the past 10 years I have no doubt that the connections made from networking events, publicity articles in the (excellent!) connected magazine, joining the Ely Committee and attending seminars have been of huge benefit to me and my business; from initial start-up to continuing to grow my client base and increasing my knowledge.”

“Anglia Translations Ltd have been members of the Chamber of Commerce for many years and the benefits to us have been numerous.

“Initially we became members for the networking opportunities and the business support services that they offer. But as we got more involved in their events we realised there were a lot more opportunities for SMEs to get involved in the local business community. As Managing Director of Anglia Translations, I got involved with the International Committee which focussed on how the Chamber could support businesses that were working internationally or thinking of taking those first steps into international markets. Through this vibrant and professional committee, we were introduced to many different businesses and opportunities as well as providing support and vital advice to many companies on their exporting journey.

“The Chamber also organise some great local exhibitions throughout the year and throughout the region that Anglia have always been involved in. The events are very well organised as well as being extremely affordable. They provide opportunity to network as well as offering educational and relevant seminars.”

Mary Gilby, Director, Anglia Translations
