20 years of ‘Recruitment as it should be’

The ONE Group, a leader in the recruitment industry, proudly celebrates its 20th anniversary in June. Founded in 2004 as Sphere Financial Recruitment, and re-branding to The ONE Group in 2008, the company has consistently set the standard for going beyond transactional recruitment, their most successful year in 2022 having placed over 1,200 candidates.
Over the past two decades, the business has achieved many significant milestones, including launching seven specialist divisions across four offices, winning multiple awards for business of the year and employer of the year (2023) and raising £147,571.25 for their chosen charity, Magpas Air Ambulance, all whilst making a lasting impact in the recruitment sector.

The ONE Group began its journey in 2004 with a mission to deliver ‘Recruitment as it should be.’ Since then, the company has grown from the 3 original founders to over 70 people based across 4 offices. A prominent recruitment business servicing clients on a local and national level including overseas reach across Europe and in the US.
Throughout its evolution, The ONE Group has remained dedicated to prioritising the personal elements of recruitment, placing people at the heart of their approach. They are passionate about encouraging a supportive and positive culture, by empowering their consultants to prioritise their customer needs, ensuring they receive a unique and exceptional experience. In celebration of this significant milestone, The ONE Group has planned a series of events, including:
• Hosting their 15th Annual Lifesavers Golf Day in aid of Magpas Air Ambulance on 14th June; an annual tradition and one of the most premium charity golf days in the region.
• Launching a summer party, TOGFest, a day of celebration for all employees and their families to enjoy.
• Released their new ‘about us’ timeline on their website.
These initiatives are a way to give back to the community that has supported The ONE Group’s growth and to acknowledge the contributions of its employees, customers and partners.
