The Low Carbon Business Support programme has been designed to offer support and guidance to businesses looking to take their first steps to reduce their carbon emissions, as well as those who have actively started their low carbon journey.
The support begins with an optional in-depth business diagnostic, which will help identify key areas of support required.
Then follows an intensive 2 day in person workshop programme to help you pull together a low carbon action plan.
The programme will run from June 2022 until September 2023 and is led by Deyton Bell, in partnership with Cambridgeshire County Council and PECT.
All beneficiaries can start their journey with an optional business diagnostic and low carbon review. The diagnostic provides around 2 hours of support from an expert business advisor and will cover all areas of business operations with a particular focus on energy management and will help identify the key areas where support is required and which aspects of the support programme will be most beneficial.
The diagnostic is also the gateway to a comprehensive workshop programme designed to help businesses to start their own low carbon journey.

Your business needs to be:
Located in the Greater Cambridgeshire and Greater Peterborough LEP area
Cambridgeshire, Uttlesford District (Essex), North Hertfordshire, Kings Lynn and West Norfolk District, Rutland, West Suffolk District.
Employ less than 250 (FTE) employees in total.
Have a turnover less than €50 million or have a balance Sheet less than €43 million.
Not have had State Aid of €200,000 or more in the last 3 fiscal years.
Not be in one the following business sectors:
• Fishery and Aquaculture • Agriculture • Coal • Steel and Shipbuilding • Synthetic Fibres • State Funded Education and Health • Banking and Insurance
