Feel the Force Day Returns to Peterborough Cathedral on 17th May 2025

Feel the Force Day, the world’s only fully inclusive film and TV convention, is thrilled to announce its much-anticipated return to Peterborough on 17th May 2025, 11.00 – 18.00.

The event will take place in the historic and breathtaking Peterborough Cathedral, a new home for the convention, offering a unique setting for fans to immerse themselves in the world of sci-fi, fantasy, and pop culture.

This marks the event’s return after a nearly six-year hiatus, with the last Feel the Force Day held in October 2019. Local organisers, JJ Lucia-Wright and Simon Howard founded Feel the Force Day as a groundbreaking event dedicated to inclusivity.

The convention is specially designed to be fully accessible but open to everyone, ensuring that fans of all abilities can enjoy an unforgettable experience.

This year’s event promises a full day of excitement with a variety of attractions, including:

Celebrity Guests: Meet stars from the big a small screen

Interactive Experiences: Displays, touch tours of props and costumes, and sensory-friendly spaces.

Stage Show: A full day of performances by local and national performers

Exhibitor Stalls: A wide selection of merchandise from local and national vendors, catering to all fandoms.

Tickets for Feel the Force Day are now on sale at a cost of £9.50 (when bought in advance, £12.00 when bought on the day – if available) with carers of guests attending for free.

Feel the Force Day was established in 2013 to provide an accessible and welcoming environment for fans of all abilities to enjoy the wonders of film and TV culture. The event has grown from a small local gathering into an internationally recognised celebration of inclusivity, bringing together fans, celebrities and exhibitors in a unique and supportive atmosphere.

Since the first event, there have been 12 events held across the country catering in total to over 50,000 people.
