Final call for FREE Business Energy Efficiency Audits

March 11, 2020

How energy efficient is your business?

In order to identify issues and aid decision making, businesses need to have a clear position on their current energy usage, thus identifying opportunities to become more carbon and cost efficient.

There is one final opportunity for small and medium businesses in Cambridgeshire to take advantage of fully funded energy efficiency reviews, thanks to funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

The energy efficiency reviews are provided by the Business Energy Efficiency programme (BEE), run by the charity Peterborough Environment City Trust (PECT), and support businesses by identifying priority projects that reduce costs, cut carbon and create a more sustainable business model.

Over the past two years, BEE has supported over 250 businesses, identifying over £1.4million of potential cost savings and in excess of 6,500 tonnes of carbon savings.

If you wish to undertake any of the recommendations for projects such as LED lighting, heating and cooling, insulation, solar PV and battery storage, the team at BEE can help you to identify funding sources. In fact, it is highly likely that you will need to have had an energy audit prior to any funding application, therefore it makes good economic sense to secure your free energy audit whilst still available.
