FREE Energy Efficiency Reviews available to businesses
November 21, 2019
Small and medium sized businesses in Cambridgeshire are urged to sign up for a free energy efficiency review, to become less wasteful, use less energy, reduce costs and create a more sustainable business model.
Thanks to funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the Business Energy Efficiency Programme (BEECP) offers fully funded energy efficiency reviews and grants towards the implementation of energy efficiency measures.
To date, the programme, delivered by Peterborough Environment City Trust (PECT), has supported over 230 businesses and identified potential cost savings of over £1.1million and carbon savings in excess of 6,300 tonnes.
With carbon targets on the horizon, businesses are urged to book their FREE Energy Efficiency review to help identify the cost saving and carbon footprint savings opportunities available to them.
BEECP has already made grant offers of £400,000 to businesses in Cambridgeshire, North Hertfordshire, Rutland and more. Due to previous grant applicants not drawing down all of the money available to them, grant funding is available for an additional limited period. Applications MUST be completed by the end of November.
There are general eligibility criteria that need to be met to qualify for support from BEECP, but typically 95 per cent of organisations contacting the programme are likely to be eligible. Interested parties can find out more and register their interest at www.beecp.org/sign-up or by emailing info@beecp.co.uk or calling 01733 882549
