March 25, 2025

Families are in for a sweet treat this Easter as Peterborough Positive team up with St John’s Church and Gateway Film Festival to host a free big-screen family film event on Wednesday, 16th April.
The day will kick off with a fun-filled crafts session from 10:00am until 12:00pm with complimentary face painting, followed by a big screen showing of the family favourite, Peter Rabbit at 12:30pm.
Pep Cipriano, Chief Operating Officer at Peterborough Positive, said: “We’re egg-cited to bring another free film event to the city centre! St John’s Church is a beautiful and historic setting, where Easter is always celebrated and we’re looking forward to welcoming families for a day of fun, film, and crafting.”
Reverend Michelle Dalliston, Vicar of St John the Baptist and St Luke, Peterborough, added: “We’re delighted to be working again with Peterborough Positive and Gateway Film Festival to host this event, giving families a welcoming space to enjoy quality time together and to celebrate the wonderful story of Easter.
“St John’s has always been at the heart of the city, where all are welcome, and this event helps bring our community together at this special time of year.”
The craft and face painting activities are free to attend, however, tickets are required for the film screening.
