

Charlotte Horobin
Chief Executive
Charlotte became CEO of Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce in July 2023.
Before joining the Chamber she held the position of Region Director, Midlands and East of England at Make UK, the national body for UK manufacturing (formerly EEF).
Charlotte is responsible for leading the representation of the Chamber’s membership and holds numerous positions including being a member of the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority Business Board and Chairs the Skills & Employment Board. Charlotte has formerly held positions on the Midlands Engine Partnership Board, she was a Board Director of the West Midlands Growth Company and has experience of working across a number of local enterprise partnerships (LEPs) and Local Authorities. She is also the Chair of the Strategic Advisory Board for InterAct a £4.4 million Made Smarter Innovation funded, Economic and Social Research Council-led network. She is also a member of the University of Cambridge Industry Advisory Board at the Institute for Manufacturing.
Charlotte has experience as a trustee of University Technical Colleges, as an Enterpriser Adviser and is a Senior Industrial Fellow with The Advanced Services Group at Aston Business School. She gained her undergraduate degree from The University of Leeds in Biomedical Science before completing her Masters at The University of Nottingham. She was recognised in the The Manufacturer Top 100 in 2022 and the Trade Association Forum, Women in Trade Association Forum’s Powerlist 2023.
